Programs & Events
Fun for the Whole Family
Every year the PTA hosts several family events such as the Fall Harvest Carnival, after school game day and the Spring Social. The PTA also has programs such as Reflections Art Contest and Read-a-thon to supplement school curriculum. Reflections: A national art program that starts out at local school level and can progress on to district, state and finally national level.

Harvest Carnival & Spring Social Family Nights: Family Nights are in the school gym and have games, food and in the case of the spring social, line dancing.

Tiger Trek: A walk-a-thon in the fall.

Book Fair: The book fair occurs in the spring and part of the profits raised go to the school library.

Read-a-thon: This is the 2011 spring fundraiser. For more information, visit the link for read-a-thon in the sidebar.

Field Day: A fun day at the end of the school year where the entire school participates in fun outdoor field games. This event usually happen in May during school hours.

The Golden Acorn/Outstanding Educator Awards: Each year the PTA asks for nominations for best volunteer and best teacher. These awards are given out at the end of the year assembly during school hours.

School Picture Day: this day's date is determined by the school and the PTA provides volunteers for the photographer.

Vision Screenings: The PTA helps the school nurse with volunteers for screening vision.
