Art Docent Opportunities! Are you looking for a way to get involved with your child’s classroom? Come join us in teaching art to the kids with our art docent program! Each class is taught one lesson per month that focuses on an artist and their style of art. We provide all the information and supplies needed to teach the lesson including step by step instructions so no art experience is needed. There are usually two art docents per class, plus the teacher, so you will not be alone. The students love the art program, so if you are returning or are new, we look forward to volunteering with you! Personalized Square 1 Art catalogs, that include stickers on the front, were distributed last week and hopefully should have come home with your student. But if not that’s ok, you can go to square1art.com and use the art search under the shop tab to find your student and order. A percentage of all orders come back to the school and support our art docent program. Orders are due April 12, 2024.
